Why is Friday the 13th an Unlucky Day?

So why is Friday the 13th an unlucky day there are a couple of reasons for this superstition. The majority of this superstition revolves around the Bible and the stories within. Most people think it is because Jesus Christ was crucified on the 5 day or in other words Friday. Biblical scholars believe Adam was tempted by Eve on a Friday which landed on the 13th day. It is also believed that Able was murdered by his brother Cain on this date.

Superstitions that follow this is you are not able to cut your hair or someone dear and near to you will die. If a funeral procession happen to pass you on the 13th of Friday is said to be bad luck and or next to die. Being born on this date is the worst, it is said that you will be cursed for the rest of your life with horrible luck.  Cutting you nails on Friday the 13th is again a bad omen which can bring you some serious bad luck.

Friday the 13th bad day for 13 year old. In the U.K. on Friday August the 13th during the Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival at exactly 13:13 or 1:30 p.m in the afternoon a young boy was stuck by lightning. "Suddenly there was this huge crack of lightning really close to the seafront and really loud thunder," said Rex Clarke, a St. John Ambulance. "Seconds later we got a call someone had been hit. The boy was breathing and was conscious."

Personally i think bad luck on Friday the 13th is true. One because there is alot of evidence that there is bad luck for the unfortunate people this day. I also have a personal experience that has happen oh this particular date. So for all you superstitious people out there beware and be very, very careful on this day.
