If you are tired of paying a lot of money for gas you might wanna think into going with a man powered car. This car can reach up to the speed of 60 MPH with man made power. This car is operated by 4 hand levers to crank up and down which moves the car. steering all you need to do is move side to side depending on the direction you wanna go.
In other words, you don't drive the FM-4 HumanCar, you row it. And you steer it simply by leaning the direction that you want to turn as you travel at speeds of 30-60 mph. The HumanCar will starting its product sells until 2011, but you can reserve one for $50. The vehicle is expected to cost around $15,000
The idea for such a revolutionary vehicle came to Greenwood back in 1968 as he sat stuck in traffic on a California freeway. Around him he saw solo drivers, many of them fat, and believed he'd just had a glimpse into America's future.
I think this invention can go both ways. One way to see it is, its very economic don't spend money at all on gas and the price of the car is very cheap. The down side is the car is not very stable and not safe the steering is not very convenient. But overall its a first step the a revolutionary invention that become something way better in the future as we know today.
